Educational Toys
The range of educational toys we promote are practical and different. We positively promote products that come with written guidance on how to optimise their educational value, or we provide our own. Our Izziwizzi educational guides were created by Early Years teachers and are linked directly from the relevant products.
We choose educational toys to help parents encourage their children’s early learning skills in preparation for their pre-school years. Even our toys for babies and young toddlers are selected to stimulate physical and early language development.
So that it is easy to find educational toys and games supporting specific areas of educational need, we categorise them according to the pre-school national educational framework.
The toys within our educational toys section encourage children to learn and interact so that they become skilful communicators. This skill develops through interaction with real people, and through having conversations in context. For this reason, we do not market electronic toys or products requiring batteries.
