We love it! Play Fest on Twitter is very lively and busy every week. We’ve taken on board feedback in that it can be sometimes difficult to keep up the pace. Next week we are going to trial a new format to Play Fest.
Don’t worry. Play Fest will continue to run in it’s usual way. The difference will be that next week we are going to introduce a new party to run in parallel to the existing party and see how you like it.
We’ll gather feedback from you at the end of next weeks Play Fest to see if you would like future Play Fest parties on Twitter to run in this way.
The new additional party will be broken down into different hash tags, so for those who enjoy specific parts of Play Fest and/or have got your head around using Twitter tools such as Tweet Deck or Hootsuite you can follow the different hash tags that you enjoy the most. And if you like, you can also get involved in the original #PlayFest too.
We are very conscious that we want to keep things simple and will continue to run #PlayFest as it’s such a fun place to be. The only difference being that as you get more experience at Play Fest and using Twitter, you may find an alternative format easier to keep up with the pace.
So let’s give it a go and see how you like it. If you are going to join in the new format next week give a shout out tweet! #PlayFest I’m going to give the #PlayFestNew format a go next week. That will give us a rough idea of how many people are going to give it a go. But please only join the new format if you are comfortable with following several hash tags. It is entirely optional.
In preparation for next week, to participate in the new party you might like to setup the following hash tags in advance:
#iwkpfc – Play Fest chat
#iwkr – You can get notification of all Izziwizzi Kids Play Fest reviews with this hash tag. Plus watch Izziwizzi Kids Reviews.
#iwkpfa – Play Fest Announcements
And be ready to give your feedback at the end of next week!
