Wooden Activity Clock by Plan Toys

This activity clock will help your child to first become enthused about the idea of telling the time and next learning how hours and minutes work.

Children first learn that they have a routine, before they understand that their daily routine links to time. This clock will help your child understand that different parts of their routine relate to different times and how those times relate to numbers and positioning of the hands.

This toy also helps with number recognition, number sequences, object recognition on the cards. The cards are slotted into the clock to reflect a typical occurance in a daily routine, for example, what time is bed time? What time is breakfast time? What time is it time for school? The hands can then be moved to reflect that time.

The clock has a clever mechanism built in that turns the hour hand as the minute hand moves around, helping children to understand that the minutes and hours are inter-related.
